Hide & Protect Your Computer Hard Drive

If You have personal Computer with windows Xp & you want to keep your Hard disk drive hide beyond from other users just follow the instruction..
01. Go Start menu >run and type gpedit.msc then press enter.
02. There will appear windows named Group Policy
03. Put Command on User configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Explorer. In right side you will see some options.

04. To hide your drive press double clicks on ‘Hide these specified drives in my computer’. You will find new windows & select Enable
05. A drop down menu will see in bellow. Click there and select a specific drive or select Restrict all drives to hide all your hard disk drive. Click Apply > OK. Now go to My Computer and see there are no drives.
06. By this way you can also inactive your all or specific drive Just in step 4 double click on ‘Prevent access to drives from My Computer’ and follow the same task.
07. To return your previous setting click on Not Configured on the step 4.
